Testosterone studies have found that testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can be beneficial for depressive men which may improve mood and motivation who do not meet the criteria for major depressive disorder (MDD). These findings suggest that lower testosterone levels may induce depression symptoms and can be improved by testosterone therapy. However, TRT is unlikely the treatment for major depressive disorder.
Call/Text us at 602-888-BOSS. We are here to assess and help your symptoms, either if you need TRT or MDD medication management and psychotherapy.
We are here to evaluate if your low testosterone causes your poor sleep. Studies have shown that testosterone treatment may help and improve your sleep so you will feel better and energized.
Testosterone treatment may produce significant weight loss in men with lower-than-normal levels while combining the recommended moderate exercise. Today, testosterone therapy is more popular as a possible option to deal with obesity in men.
Low testosterone levels can mimic symptoms of depression and cause anxiety over time. If you’re experiencing low sex drive, diminishing energy and overall fatigue, you may feel like it’s just another part of getting older. You could be dealing with low testosterone levels (hypogonadism) or undiagnosed major depression disorder.
Studies have shown to improve libido and erectile dysfunction with testosterone therapy.
Testosterone enhances sexual function in both younger and older men, although the relative benefit experienced by older men could be lower due to more severe symptoms before treatment.
The recent study found that regardless of men's testosterone baseline level, they benefited from T-therapy and showed a significant increase in fat-free total mass thereby improving athletic performance.
According to the Endocrine Society, about 35% to 45% of men older than 45 years old with Diabetes Type 2 (DM 2) and obesity have low testosterone levels. T-therapy appeared to have greater benefit including a reduction in blood sugar levels, Hemoglobin A1c, which increases in people with bad cholesterol (LDL) and diabetes.
A new study discovered that an increase in the male testosterone hormone helps improve body composition, affects the production of red blood cells, sex drive, and bone mass, and increases lean muscle size and strength.
We take a holistic approach to mental health care, focusing not only on treating symptoms but also on addressing the underlying causes of mental health issues. We use evidence-based practice and work collaboratively with our clients to develop personalized treatment plans.
